I went to college with Scott but really didn't know him until a few years later when I saw an add in the paper offering private lessons from a Shrpnel records artist.

I called and it was Scott, who had just released his solo CD 'Broke".

At the time, I was basically looking to further my picking technique from what I had gotten from Paul Gilbert. I couldn't have found a better teacher. Scott's picking is phenominal. Total shred with taste. He uses a lot of 3 note, extended pentatonic licks and is also a great rhythm player too.
